Armistice Centenary Grants Program: Open for Proposals

Published on Mon 6 November 2017 at 1:45 pm

Read the Armistice Centenary Grants Program guidelines and submit your project proposal on the Fremantle EOI form by Friday 8 December.

Federal Labor Member for Fremantle, Josh Wilson MP, today invited not-for-profit, incorporated and ex-service organisations, schools, museums and cultural institutions, historical associations, and local government agencies across the federal electorate of Fremantle to submit an expression of interest (EOI) for funding through the Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) Armistice Centenary Grants Program (ACGP).

To assist with commemoration of next year’s centenary marking the end of World War One, the Federal Government has pledged a total of $50,000 for projects and events in the federal electorate of Fremantle. Grant amounts available range between $3,000 and $50,000.

The EOI period for Fremantle will close on Friday 8 December 2017.

The Fremantle community consultation panel convened for this grant will make a preliminary assessment of proposals before inviting formal applications to the DVA.

The DVA will then consider the initiatives invited by the committee and make the final determination on successful projects.

Coordinated by MPs, the ACGP provides each of the nation’s 150 federal electorates with up to $50,000 to commemorate the centenary of Armistice Day.
